direction to architect, engineer, contractors and owner. Structural analysis, accurate and rapid
reading of plans/specifications. Required diplomacy and decisions in compressed time frames.


Rogers & Babler Project Engineer Commercial Construction
Fairbanks, Alaska May 1983 – April 1984
Contract admin. In charge of shop drawing review and submittals to architects and engineers.
Assisted in field modifications, subcontractor coordination, labor supervision. Construction of
Shop/ Laboratory Usibelli Coal Mine North Pole High School. 21 million dollar budget.


TCI Limited Project Engineer Commercial Construction
Fairbanks and Healy Alaska June 1982 – May 1983
Contract administration. Responsible for pay estimates to owners, submittals to architect/engineers,
shop drawing review, estimating, some labor supervision (union and non union), handle grievances,
management of subcontractors and camp to house tradesmen, cost/benefit analysis. Worked with
architect on design-build of multiuse shop/office, laboratory complex at Usibelli Coal Mine.
